Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years management experience in an IT Infrastructure capacity
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is a plus
  • QOS experience required
  • Microsoft certification in one of the following areas is a plus; MCTS, MCITP, MCSA, MCSE
  • Relational Database Management Systems experience
  • Data Warehouse experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Novell is a plus
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite of Products
  • IT Infrastructure experience in the behavioral health industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours to support the data centers and networks

Synopsis

The IT Infrastructure Manager directs all aspects of the Information Technology Infrastructure for the Northern Arizona Regional Behavioral Health Authority (NARBHA) including computer hardware and software, IT Security, Wide Area Network, Local Area Network and the Technical Help Desk.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on manager. Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical computer, storage and WAN/LAN problems.
  • Working knowledge of network servers, LAN/WAN hardware, enterprise level routers/switches, VMware, IBM AIX UNIX and Windows Operating systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, RTS, and T1/QMOE
  • Establishes policies for Data Center Operation and Network Services deployments, maintenance, and security
  • Manage and maintain an Information Technology Infrastructure staff with the skills to support the Production and Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Data Centers, Wide Area Network (WAN) spanning six counties, Local Area Network (LAN) for the corporate and remote sites, and technical Help Desk.
  • Manage and maintain the WAN and LAN hardware and software in the corporate office, the Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Data Center in Phoenix, and remote NARBHA offices
  • Supervise day-to-day maintenance and installations of data center and network equipment
  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance and contingency plans and documentation for the computer hardware and software and the telecommunications network infrastructure
  • Perform audits to ensure all installed software is licensed and accounted for
  • Develop and manage computer and network services Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Ensures compliance with uptime and performance standards
  • Participates in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of hardware and software solutions
  • Work in conjunction with Development/Project Management personnel to ensure a timely and efficient release of new or upgraded software applications into the production environment
  • Works with the NARBHA Security Officer to maintain Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance and provide applicable HIPAA reporting
  • Work with the NARBHA telemedicine unit to execute high quality video transmissions across the regional network
